A small introduction about you ✨

Hallo! My name is Daan van Dijk and I am originally from the Netherlands. I have previous experience in Product Management, Product Design, Web Development and teaching. About 5 years ago I moved to Barcelona to study my master’s degree in Communication Sciences and haven’t moved back to the NL since. 

My hobbies are cycling 🚴🏻, running 🏃🏼, baking / cooking 🥖, fermenting stuff 🧪 and tending to our little herb garden and plants 🌱 

What do you hope to gain from your experience working with us, and how do you plan to make the most of this opportunity?

I hope to gain experience in launching exceptional digital products from idea initiation to scale-up. I plan to make the most of this opportunity by doing what MVST and I have in common: the mindset of ‘getting sh*t done.

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be and why?

I’d love to have the ability to read users' minds. Understanding their pain points and needs on a deep level would be a game-changer in designing and launching truly exceptional products.

If you could invent a product or service that would make people's lives better, what would it be?

I would create something that helps reduce food waste by showing people how to transform surplus, ‘ugly’ or nearly-expired produce into (fermented) foods. It would include a (fermentation) kit with tools and a guide on what and how to ferment.
